Community Health Committee


CNSA Bylaws - Article XI., Section 4. Functions

Committees shall review existing committee policies and submit any revised policies and procedures annually to the Board of Directors.

  1. The Community Health committee shall:
    1. Prepare and distribute information regarding the Community Health Project Award and the Multi-Chapter Community Service Project Award and determine annual winners.
    2. Distribute information regarding community health issues and assist with community outreach projects across the state of California
    3. Assist with the creation and retention of local level Community Health committees within California

The Zika virus has been making headlines since the beginning of the year, and the CDC announced travel advisories for multiple countries (http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices) . Pregnant women should take extra caution when traveling to areas with known Zika outbreaks.

Submit your name, school name, anticipated date of graduation, and your CNSA/NSNA membership number to [email protected]

Committee Time Commitment

Approximately 2-3 hours per week
