Image of Nursing Committee

Responsibilities and Functions: CNSA Bylaws Article XI Section 4

Committees shall review existing committee policies and submit any revised policies and procedures annually to the Board of Directors.

The Image of Nursing committee shall:

  1. Promote a positive image of nursing.
  2. Assist local chapters in planning, developing, and participating in local and state education, advocacy, and awareness programs related to a positive image of nursing
  3. Inform CNSA membership regarding the image of nursing and the public’s perception of the nursing profession through various means such as: writing articles for issues of Range of Motion, and updating the “Image of Nursing” page on the CNSA website.
  4. Coordinate CNSA responses to appropriate and/or inappropriate image of nursing issues in the media.

Committee Time Commitment

7-8 hours per month working with other committee members, coordinating different projects with local chapter and monitoring social media. Hours of commitment are dependent on the number of committee members.
